The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Sports Competition is an annual event organised by the National Sports Association for Judiciary (NASAJ), bringing together judges, magistrates and court staff from across the country's judicial divisions to compete in various sporting disciplines. Beyond the games themselves, the event is used within the judiciary as a platform for fostering camaraderie, networking and wellness among judicial officers who often work under high-pressure conditions.
Coverage agrees that this year's edition, the 32nd, is being hosted by Kaduna State and began on October 16, though reports differ slightly on whether the competition started on that day or is only set to begin. Details such as the specific sporting events on the programme, the number of participating states or judicial divisions, and which dignitaries are attending the opening have not yet been reported.
