APC-PCC Holds Inaugural Meeting Tuesday
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), has scheduled its inaugural meeting on Tuesday at the Presidential Campaign Council HQ Plot 781, Herbert Macaulay Way, Central Business District,…
The Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) is the body the All Progressives Congress typically constitutes ahead of general elections to coordinate strategy, mobilisation and messaging for its presidential candidate across the country's six geopolitical zones. With the 2027 general election still some way off, the early inauguration and quick follow-up meeting of the PCC signal the ruling party's intent to begin organising its re-election machinery well in advance, drawing on structures it has used in past election cycles.
Both Leadership and Channels Television confirm the meeting is holding in Abuja, with Channels noting it comes a week after the council's inauguration and Leadership specifying the venue as the PCC secretariat on Herbert Macaulay Way in the Central Business District. Neither report yet details the council's full membership, leadership structure, or the specific agenda items to be discussed at the inaugural sitting, which are likely to emerge as coverage of the meeting's proceedings develops.
