The Federal Government is set to launch the African Global Festival Nigeria (AGLOFEST) in October 2026. The initiative aims to strengthen Nigeria’s cultural diplomacy and economic links with Africa and the global Black Diaspora, while showcasing the country’s culture, tourism, creative industries and investment opportunities.
AGLOFEST will bring together government officials, investors, businesses, creatives and members of the global Black Diaspora. It will feature three main programmes: a Black Diaspora Economic Forum focused on trade and investment, a cultural presentation, and a Global Hope and Peace Concert promoting peace and unity.
