Barcelona have been La Liga's dominant early-season force, and this result underlines that run of form. A 3-0 win over Getafe keeps the Catalan club unbeaten and atop the table, with the reports noting an eight-match winning streak in the league this term.
Anthony Gordon's goal is notable as his first for Barcelona, a marker of his adaptation to the club following his move, though neither report gives further detail on the circumstances of his transfer, his playing time this season, or who scored Barcelona's other goals. Getafe, meanwhile, remain a mid-table side known for disciplined, defensively organised football, making a heavy home or away defeat to the leaders a further blow to their season.
